The Garden
The views of the Rochechouart Chateau are outstanding from the Loiseau Bleu holiday home, many of our guests like to sit and read in this tranquil environment.
To the rear of the house is a meeting point of the rivers Varye and Graine, where you can watch many different kinds of wildlife, including, ducks, coypu and our lovely kingfishers, skirting the river for food.
It is usual to see the blue tits nest in the old apple tree in the garden, with their young fledglings in the spring/summer, quite a sight to be hold, one which many of our guests have seen.
There is a comfortable seating area with table, chairs, umbrella and barbecue, all provided for your enjoyment in the pleasant cottage style garden, alfresco dining - your choice.
Fishing in the garden is permitted, however you must purchase a local fishing licence. These licences can be purchased form Rochechouart town centre, just a 10 minute walk.
