Kitchen - Diner
To the right of the hallway entrance there is a large open plan kitchen diner with seating for six people, a double sink unit, washing machine, dishwasher, cooker, fridge, microwave, shelves all well stocked with glasses, plates etc.
The kitchen provides a cool place to be when the sun is shining outside, enabling guests to have lunch indoors during the midday sun.
The reading and games area is to the left of the kitchen, with a view of the river and fields.
Lounge
The lounge has a log fire (logs provided), comfortable sofa & chairs, book case full of books, a selection of videos and family games to help keep everyone entertained.
There is a folder of current tourist activities/places to visit for the whole family.
I.e. Local maps, walking, local markets, play areas, beaches near by, pools, shops, restaurants, roman baths, Futurescope the list is endless.
Master Bedroom
The view from the master bedroom of the Rochechouart Chateau,is quite superb at night as the Chateau is all lit up.
In the master bedroom is the following, double bed, wardrobes, dressers, pedestal, sofa and washbasin.
Bedroom 2
This is the second double bedroom in the property, which looks towards the front of the property and the walled town of Rochechouart.
In the second bedroom, double bed, chest of draws, dressing table and bedside tables.
Bedroom 3
This bedroom has a beautiful view of the river and the rolling fields, where you can usually watch the horses and their foals and if you are lucky you will see the kingfishers skirting the river.
Has a single bed, chest of draws, wardrobe, and cot if required.
N.B. All beds are made up for our guests arrival.
Bathroom
The upstairs bathroom has a bath, shower, sink and heated towel rail. (Towels provided)
